Rama Parivar

Rama is the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. Rama is regarded as an ideal of perfection. He is worshipped along with His wife, Sita, and His brother and devotee, Lakshmana. Lord Rama and Lakshmana carry a bow and arrow which symbolizes their alertness and readiness to fight against iniquity and thus establish justice and peace. In Ramayana, the Hindu epic, Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and other characters set an exemplary model of human relations based on duty, truthfulness, benevolence, and self-denial.

Lord Hanumana sits by Rama’s feet to pray and abide by whatever the Lord says. He is worshiped as the greatest devotee of Rama. He is also known as Bajrangbali and Pavan-Suta. His parents are Vayu (lord of winds) and Anjana.

Sri Rama puja and Hanuman puja are held every Tuesday evening in the temple. Ramnavmi, Lord Rama’s birthday is celebrated every year with lot of devotion. Hanuman Jayanti is also celebrated.
